Today the Primates have just announced the Ven. Dr Peter Carrell as the new Christchurch Diocese Bishop-Elect.
Peter is well-known to many of us here in the Diocese and we look forward to working with him in his new role that he will take up after his ordination and induction early next year. More information about these events will be posted in due course.
In the meantime, we ask you to pray that Peter is blessed with wisdom and strength for the considerable task ahead of him. We also remember in our prayers Peter’s wife, Teresa, and his family.
