It is with great joy that I invite singers from around the Diocese to join together in the Transitional Cathedral on Saturday 16 July to form a choir for a diocesan diaconate ordination service.
The ordination service begins at 10.00am, with choir rehearsal preceding that at 9.00am on the same day. The repertoire for the service will be selected based on response and will be accessible to all music levels. If you would like to sing, RSVP to dom@christchurchcathedral.co.nz or ring me on 021 105 0961 by Wednesday 13 July and I’ll be happy to send you a scan of the repertoire for that day once determined what it will be.
In addition to this Diocesan ordination, there will be other opportunities later this year for singers from around our Diocese to join together for the common cause of liturgy and music.
