The Diocesan Ordination to the diaconate will be on 16 July at 10 am at the Transitional Cathedral.
There will be five being ordained to the diaconate: Al Drye (St John’s Latimer Square and Rakaia parishes); Alistair Buick (the Cathedral); Ben Randall (until going to St John’s College: St Michael and All Angels parish); Carolyn Robertson-Heglun (formerly the children’s ministry developer for the Diocese); and Tony Kippax (before going to St John’s College: Sumner-Redcliffs parish).
This ordination will be an historic occasion as candidates from Te Waipounamu will be ordained by Bishop Kito at the same time.
