BIBLE 2020 – Bible Society NZ launches new bible reading app

Join the world’s largest Bible reading campaign!
Imagine a world-wide community speaking the words of the Bible together across cities, towns, villages, streets and continents. Lives will be changed! The idea is simple: a smart phone app will deliver daily readings for a year, that can be accessed in multiple languages, providing Bible access across the world. Together we will read, speak and hear the words of the Bible each day, sharing our experience on a global platform.
Bible 2020 kicks off on January 1st, 2020 – in New Zealand!
Go to their website, watch the video, order resources, promote it in your church, get the app – and join thousands of people across the Globe committed to reading the Word or God daily, and out aloud, in 2020.
There are hundreds of languages you can choose to have the Bible passages displayed in, including te Reo Māori!
Launch plans are ready:
The New Zealand launch is critical for the early success of Bible 2020. They will have Bible Society staff in two places on January 1st 2020 – in Gisborne and at Oihi.
They will be kicking the whole global campaign off at Okitu Beach just north of Gisborne. They will be there before sunrise and will be joined by Fiona McDonald, the project leader from Scotland! If you are nearby, we’d love to have you join us. Bring something for your breakfast (we’ll have a BBQ there too). Email Stephen if you want to come.
