A new Centre for Ethics and Spirituality is being launched at Christ’s College. The school’s Chaplain, The Rev. Bosco Peters, and Mrs Helen Peters will present the inaugural event of the Centre by talking about their walking 1,000km of the Camino for 40 days along the north of Spain. They will show pictures of their pilgrimage and discuss the experience and some of the lessons they learned that connect with ordinary life.

Through the new Centre, students, teachers, parents, and the wider community will be engaged in discussions on contemporary moral issues, beliefs, values, and spirituality. It will aim to promote critical and creative thinking, intercultural understanding, and engagement with the ethical and spiritual issues facing New Zealanders in the 21st century.
