A five-movement work performed in Latin with English and Chinese translations.

Creative Journey Chorale presents Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living, a five-movement choral masterpiece that breathes new life into the traditional requiem. It forms a narrative for the living who struggle with pain and sorrow and the portrays the element of light, peace and rest for both the deceased and the living.

In order to perform this particular work, we have invited musicians across the nation to form an ensemble for it. Naomi Lee (Violist from Auckland), Naomi Hnat (Cellist from Christchurch), David Burchell (Organist from Dunedin), and David Codd (Pianist from Wellington) and two vocal soloists from Auckland as well.
