The Diocesan Ordination to the diaconate will be on 16 July at 10 am at the Transitional Cathedral.

There will be five being ordained to the diaconate: Al Drye (St John’s Latimer Square and Rakaia parishes); Alistair Buick (the Cathedral); Ben Randall (until going to St John’s College: St Michael and All Angels parish); Carolyn Robertson (formerly the children’s ministry developer for the Diocese); and Tony Kippax (before going to St John’s College: Sumner-Redcliffs parish).

This ordination will be an historic occasion as candidates from Te Waipounamu will be ordained by Bishop Kito at the same time.

Clergy are invited to robe in Red.
