The Diocesan Manager, Edwin Boyce, was given the opportunity to test drive an electric vehicle for a week, courtesy of Orion, as part of their campaign to make people aware of the benefits of electric vehicles. “It was a great experience,” Edwin said. “It certainly surprised me that the car performed just as well as a petrol powered car.” Edwin used the car for around town journeys and did one round trip of 288km without having to charge the battery and having the capacity to go farther. “This experience has totally changed my opinion of electric vehicles,” he said.
